The Glass Fire burning across California’s Napa and Sonoma counties was reportedly declared the “most destructive fire” burning in the region’s history. The fire covered 66,840 acres by Tuesday, October 6.
The Mercury News reported at least 20 wineries across the Napa Valley had been damaged or destroyed in the fire.
This footage posted on Sunday shows Vallejo firefighters working overnight to try to contain the blaze. At that time, the fire was at 15 percent containment and burned 63,450 acres.
