Glastonbury 2017 line-up announcement is coming soon

From Digital Spy

Glastonbury Festival organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that the line-up will be announced before the end of next week.

An Instagram photo shared by Emily, whose father Michael Eavis founded Glastonbury, reads: "If you paid a Glastonbury 2017 ticket deposit in autumn 2016 then REMEMBER you must pay your remaining balance between Saturday, 1st April and Friday, 7th April."

When asked by someone on Instagram if the line-up would be released before payments were due, Emily replied, "yes".

Using that logic, the latest we will know the line-up by is April 7 – and for all the fact fans out there, last year's first line-up announcement was on March 29, which was three days before the balance payment window opened on April 1.

This means we're very close to finding out who'll be joining Ed Sheeran, who has been announced as the final headliner at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

Radiohead and Foo Fighters are the other headliners for the 2017 event at Worthy Farm.
