Glastonbury 2019 lineup: Fatboy Slim pledges to play at festival 'until I drop dead'

Fatboy Slim has said with confidence that he will be playing at Glastonbury this year.

The English DJ, who is a fixture at the festival, told Metro that performing at Worthy Farm is not an option for him but a must.

“It’s not on the cards, it’s a given,” Fatboy Slim – real name Norman Cook – said.

He added: “Until I drop dead, I’ll be playing Glastonbury.”

The festival itself has yet to confirm that the DJ is part of this year’s line-up.

Rumours have been swirling about potential headliners.

Janet Jackson, Taylor Swift, Fleetwood Mac and Paul McCartney have all been named as possible options, though no official decision has been announced.

In 2017, Fatboy Slim claimed in an interview with NME that Glastonbury is becoming “less dangerous” and “more middle-class”, adding: “It used to be quite a hairy place to be at times. I think sometimes, the big headline acts – they’ve kind of run out.”
