Glastonbury 2025 rumours as iconic indie band tipped to perform
An iconic indie band is rumoured to be joining the Glastonbury 2025 lineup, eliciting excitement among fans. The much-anticipated music festival at Worthy Farm, scheduled from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday, June 29 this summer, boasts an impressive roster of confirmed artists.
According to information previously disclosed by The Sun, pop sensations Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, and Olivia Rodrigo are due to take the stage at next year’s Glastonbury. They will be joining the likes of The 1975, Stevie Wonder, and Neil Young, who are set to perform on the iconic Pyramid Stage.
Japanese Breakfast is now tipped as the latest addition to the summer festival’s billing. On a Glastonbury-themed Reddit forum, speculation is rife; one user hinted: "Japanese Breakfast has just announced [a] new album and 2025 tour and there is a nice gap for Glasto, so I guess they are quite likely? " Another Redditor reminisced, "They were on the schedule for Other on the Sunday in 2023 and cancelled last minute, replaced by Eaves Wilder (who did a great job on short notice)."

Other whispers include the likes of the Maccabbees, Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, and Basement Jaxx. The Maccabees sparked reunion rumours last October and have since confirmed they're back together and performing again.
The five-piece group, led by Orlando Weeks, are already slated to headline a London music festival this summer. However, fans are speculating they could also sign up to perform at Glastonbury, with online rumours running wild.
