Glastonbury band Alien Shamans go viral with catchy Christmas single 'Jingle My Bells'
Glastonbury is famous not just for its annual music festival in the summer. The town is also famous for spirituality, healing, mystical power and all things other-worldly.
Cynics might say it is the hippie capital of the world. People come from all over to visit its quirky, hippie-like shops promising all sorts of healing and spiritual prowess.
Now a band called Alien Shamans from Glastonbury are making a name for themselves on the music scene. Led by well known Glastonbury mystic Lui Krieg, very well known in the area for his crystals and jewellery design - he has a shop called Stone Age in Glastonbury – Alien Shamans have released a new Christmas song and it is attracting a wide audience.

Called Jingle My Bells it is a catchy number and some comments on YouTube say it will replace well known but now tired ballads like Do They Know It’s Christmas. It is receiving very positive comments on YouTube.
For Krieg, now in his 60’s, renowned as a world leader in crystals, sound healing, and jewellery design, has embraced his lifelong dream of becoming a rock star. After decades of carving a unique path, he co-founded Alien Shamans , who released their debut single 'Edge of Time' this October.
The song's music video has already garnered over 200k views on YouTube in under a month. Now, just in time for the holiday season, the band is spreading joy with their playful new Christmas track: 'Jingle My Bells' , a fresh spin on the festive spirit.
Lui Krieg was born and raised in a small town in Germany. After school he studied electronic engineering. He very soon realised this was not going to be his path and at the age of 21 decided to embark on a journey to explore the world and seek a more spiritual lifestyle.
He travelled extensively worldwide, lived for long periods of time in India, South East Asia, Australia, South and North America and Africa. On this journey he learned meditation, yoga, and lots of different approaches towards spirituality.
He finally settled down in Glastonbury. In the early 90’s, he had a major realisation when he discovered crystals were amazing tools for healing and transformation. He connected with the mineral kingdom in a deep way, getting to understand its alchemy of pure consciousness and divine frequencies.
