The much-anticipated map for this year's Glastonbury Festival has just been unveiled, a whole month ahead of the event.

Released on Thursday, May 23 on the festival's official website, the map offers a sneak peek at what's new for the 2024 festivities.

But keep in mind, there might still be some tweaks and fine-tuning to the layout between now and when the festival gates open. The eagle-eyed team at Glasto Fest Feed has already scrutinised the fresh release, comparing it with last year's blueprint to spotlight the key updates.

One striking alteration is the transformation of Arcadia's legendary spider stage into a dragonfly structure, with the area around it appearing somewhat more compact than before. Over at Silver Hayes, regulars will notice the BBC Introducing stage has shifted its position slightly. Meanwhile, the Wow stage has made way for an intriguing new venue named 'Assembly', reports Wales Online.

Additional spots like The Information, Firmly Rooted Soundsy, and The Hive have also found their place on the updated map. A brand-new stage called 'The Tree' is set to sprout in Woodsies.

Glasto Fest Feed reveals it as "A new outdoor venue, set beneath an oak tree decor canopy, zeroing into the immersive, ambient and experimental."

For seasoned Glasto-goers, perhaps the most notable change is the disappearance of the Rabbit Hole from its usual haunt in The Park. In its stead, the map shows two mysterious blue dots, suggesting the introduction of either new stages or tents.

Festival-goers will discover a new access route to the South East Corner via Avalon at this year's Glastonbury. Additionally, Shangri-La is set to welcome a new stage known as Arrivals.

In 2023, attendees witnessed a significant change with the removal of the Row Mead campsite, situated opposite the Pyramid Stage. This area was cleared and fenced off last year to create additional space for viewing Elton John's performance. A new family campsite, Ash Tree, has also been introduced, located adjacent to the Cockmill Meadow Family Campsite.

The festival map provides detailed information on all facilities and services, including car parking and campervan zones. Attendees can easily locate first aid tents, water points, toilets, and more.

Glastonbury Festival is set to return to Worthy Farm next month, running from Wednesday, June 26 to Sunday, June 30. This year's headliners include Dua Lipa (Friday), Coldplay (Saturday), and SZA (Sunday), with Shania Twain gracing the stage during the Legend's Tea Time slot.
