Glastonbury Festival tickets sold out in just under 40 minutes on Sunday morning. The new ticketing system saw millions across the world attempt to get their hands on tickets to the most famous music festival in the world.

Many have been left frustrated and angry after missing out at the 2025 festival, which sold out in 35 minutes. Glastonbury Festival posted on X at 9.35am: "Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 have now Sold Out.

"Thanks to everyone who bought one and sorry to those who missed out, on a morning when demand was much higher than supply. There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2025."

Fans criticised the new ticketing system, with many struggling to get past two bars once in the queue. For those of you that missed out on tickets there are still options to secure your place at Worthy Farm next summer.

Ticket resale

There will be another chance to buy Glastonbury tickets in Spring 2025, just weeks before the festival. Any cancelled or returned tickets will be available to purchase next Spring, although exact dates are yet to be confirmed.

Anyone who secured a ticket in the general sale had to pay a £75 deposit, with the remaining balance due in the first week of April. Anyone who does not pay their balance loses their ticket and it goes back into the pot. The resale of tickets that were not paid for in full takes place shortly after the balance window closes, usually also in April.

Can I buy a ticket from anywhere else?

Glastonbury Festival states: "The demand for tickets has been high in recent years, but please don’t be tempted or fooled by bogus sellers. Tickets will be sold exclusively at glastonbury.seetickets.com, do not attempt to book tickets from third parties."
