This year's Glastonbury Festival is right around the corner and music lovers across the country are gearing up to enjoy a weekend of live performances from some of their favourite musicians. And, while the main acts have been public knowledge for months, festival fans are eagerly looking forward to this year's secret sets.

This year's headliners include Coldplay, Dua Lipa and Shania Twain, but there are always a few surprises along the way. Last year's festival saw Foo Fighters make several unexpected appearances at the festival, and many believe we're about to see another huge name put on a memorable show.

Kasabian, who were the main act on the Pyramid Stage in 2014, are believed by festival-goers to be preparing for a spectacular return 10 years later at the Worthy Farm event. The rock band from Leicester are thought to be favourites to perform the secret set on the Woodsies Stage, not only because of the anniversary but also due to their light tour schedule.

The band announced they'll be going on tour in July, and many believe they could use Glastonbury as a warm-up before heading to Edinburgh on July 3. Formed in 1997, the band consists of singer and guitarist Sergio Pizzorno, bassist Chris Edwards, drummer Ian Matthews and guitarist Tim Carter.

However, they aren't the only ones rumoured for the potential slot. Pulp, who last performed at the Glastonbury Festival in 2011, have also been suggested, with Disco 2000 hitmaker Jarvis Cocker scheduled to perform on Friday, reports the Mirror. They first graced the Somerset stage together in 1995.

In the past, surprise performances from big names such as Lady Gaga, The Killers and Franz Ferdinand have been a highlight, leading to much speculation about who might be added to the line-up. The iconic gates of Glastonbury Festival 2024 are set to open around 8am on Wednesday, June 26, with the event continuing until Sunday, June 30 - and Kings Of Leon is another major band rumoured to be involved, reports.
