There will be millions of anxious people up and down the country trying to get their hands on Glastonbury tickets this week. An estimated 2.5 million people try for just over 200,000 Glastonbury tickets each year. Tickets for the famous festival go on sale on Thursday, November 14 with fans expected to quickly snap up ticket and coach travel options.

For those who aren't fortunate enough to get their hands on the highly sought after tickets there is another chance on Sunday. General admission tickets will be on on sale at 9am on Sunday, November 17.

The famous festival will return to Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 25 to 29. No announcements have been made for the line-up as of yet but there have been rumours circulating for potential artists who could be headlining the festival.

Last year the three headlining acts were Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA, with Shania Twain performing in the traditional Sunday Legends slot. Acts including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Sam Fender, Eminem and Stevie Wonder are among the names at the top of the bookies' lists for 2025.

The artists rumoured to be performing at the festival next year are listed below. The first official line-up poster doesn't usually get revealed until the beginning of March, followed by the full line-up announcement at the end of May.

Olivia Rodrigo

American artist Olivia Rodrigo is the favourite to headline Glastonbury next year. She has been announced as the headline act for BST Hyde Park 2025 which coincides with Glastonbury weekend. The 21-year-old is set to perform at the London festival on Friday, June 27, with Girl in Red and The Last Dinner Party listed as special guests.

The timing of this show rules her out from the heavily speculated opening night headline slot. Although it does leave her free for a performance on possibly a Saturday or Sunday headlining show.

Glastonbury organisers are reportedly ‘keen to get more high-profile female performers topping the bill’ due to past criticism over male-dominated line-ups. In the 54-year history of the festival, only eight female headliners have graced the stage.

Despite only being 21, Olivia has had a highly successful career so far. Her accolades include an American Music Award, seven , and four MTV Video Music Awards and she was recognized as Time's Entertainer of the Year in 2021, Billboard's Woman of the Year in 2022, and twice as "Songwriter of the Year" at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in 2022 and 2024.

Fred Again

Super-producer Fred Again is currently 10/11 on with some bookmakers to take to the Pyramid Stage next year. The London-based DJ, headlined the Reading & Leeds Festival in 2024.

His latest album, titled Ten Days, reached the top 10 on the UK albums chart. Although Glastonbury isn't known for having DJs on the main stage so he's more likely to headline the Other Stage.

Last year he played an intimate gig at Glastonbury as he appeared on the Strummerville stage to perform a unreleased music alongside tracks from 'Secret Life', his collaborative album with Brian Eno. He will be wanting to return for bigger and better next year.

The 1975

The 1975 have performed at Glastonbury three times already, including in 2014 and 2016. They performed on the Pyramid Stage on June 29, 2014 at Worthy Farm, Pilton. Their set list included "The City", "M.O.N.E.Y.", "So Far (It's Alright)", "Talk!", and "Settle Down". They performed on the Other Stage in 2016.

The 1975, featuring singer Matt alongside bassist Ross Macdonald, guitarist Adam Hann and drummer George Daniel, have never headlined Glastonbury Festival.

While the band are currently on an indefinite hiatus the famous festival would be the perfect opportunity to launch back into the limelight. They are currently 1/2 with some bookmakers having moved from 50/1 before Thursday's sale.

Green Day

Amazingly, Green Day have never played at Glastonbury despite their huge popularity over the years. Green Day have announced that they will be embarking on a tour across the UK and Europe next summer, and there's potential for them to play at Glastonbury Festival.

The dates of the UK run have furthered speculation that Green Day, composed of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool will be playing Glastonbury Festival 2024. According to Green Day's tour schedule, the American Idiot hitmakers will be free on both the Friday and Sunday night of the festival.

Harry Styles

Pop sensation Harry Styles has had a stellar solo career, with three albums and plenty of hits. The former One Direction member has been a consistent rumour of the past few years but is yet to make his Glastonbury debut. He’s as low as 7/4 with some bookmakers, while others have him at 4/1.
