Glaswegian couple wanted for stunning Scots island job with £70k salary and accommodation
One of Scotland's most beautiful islands is giving a couple the chance to escape from modern city life in Glasgow.
A private estate on the Isle of Islay, located in the Inner Hebrides, is looking for a special pair who can help run the unnamed venue which is used for a mix of private use, weddings, events and 'traditional exclusive use lettings.'. The island is known for its world-famous whisky distilleries, as well as its picturesque beaches, delicious seafood, and incredible wildlife.
The successful applicants will be able to live rent and council tax free in a three bed property on the estate grounds, and best of all, it's dog friendly.

When you are not working, there is plenty to get up to around Islay. As well as iconic distilleries like Lagavulin and Laphroaig, settlements such as Bowmore and Port Ellen are home to a variety of shops, cafés, and restaurants.
Duties include housekeeping for the main property with a large amount of bedrooms with en-suites, managing staff at busy periods, gardening, driving guests, property maintenance and helping on shoot days.
Applicants, who will be paid between £60,000 to £70,000 GPA (joint), must be able to drive and be comfortable with dogs.
The advert reads: "Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking a Couple for their Private Estate on the Isle of Islay, Inner Hebrides Islands, off the West Coast of Scotland. The location has flight, ferry and road links, has a sense of local community and is a wonderful place to live surrounded by stunning scenery. The property will be used for a mixture of private use, weddings, events and traditional exclusive use lettings."
