Former Glee actor Darren Criss is celebrating the arrival of his second child with wife Mia Swier. The couple welcomed their son, Brother Laszlo, on Monday 3 June.

The newborn joins their two year old daughter Bluesy Belle. Darren shared a photo of the baby boy wrapped in an R2-D2 print blanket on Instagram, complete with oversized sunglasses seemingly held over his face by his big sister.

The caption read: "M + D just delivered their follow-up single. Brother Laszlo Criss. 6/3/24. Out now.(sic)".

This post seems to echo the announcement he made when Bluesy was born, where he shared a family photo and wrote: " M+ D made some sweet music. Bluesy Belle Criss , 4/11/22 Out now."

Darren adorned the post with heart and music emojis. Back in December, he revealed that he and Mia were expecting another baby, teasing that the youngster was "coming soon".

He posted a humorous version of the 'Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again' promotional poster on Instagram, featuring his face superimposed over Meryl Streep's, Mia's head on Amanda Seyfried's body, and Bluesy's face on Lily James' head. The post also included a photo of two positive pregnancy tests, with the caption: "And COMING SOON...let's hope the sequel is better than the photoshop. (sic)".

The 37 year old, who wed Mia in 2019, previously admitted that his life was in "chaos" as he juggled fatherhood and his role in 'American Buffalo' on Broadway, among other professional duties. In a chat with People magazine, he remarked: "It's a blessing to get all these things happening kind of all at once - personal, home stuff happening among the same fun, prosperity and excitement that is existing in my professional life - there's something that's very invigorating about that. So I'm rockin' and rollin'."

After his breakout role as Blaine on Glee from 2010, Darren has starred in numerous Broadway productions, earning praise for his portrayal of Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace's killer, in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, and also in the 2020 TV drama Hollywood. He is set to feature in the romantic comedy musical Maybe Happy Ending on Broadway later this year.
