Gloria Hunniford has revealed she is thinking about getting her first tattoo at the age of 80.

The Rip Off Britain presenter used to discourage her sons and late daughter Caron Keating from getting inked themselves, but told the Mirror that now she is 80 she has started to hanker after an angel or butterfly marking of her own.

The TV star admitted her husband Stephen Way thinks it is a bit “silly”, but she insisted that if she does decide to get a tattoo, she’ll only get a “tiny” design.

Hunniford, who will celebrate her 81st birthday in April, told the publication: “Caron and I used to have terrible rows when she wanted her ears pierced, but I wouldn’t even let her have her ears pierced.

“And now I’m in my latter years, I would like a little butterfly or a pretty angel of some sort.”
