Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway suffered a hilarious blunder on today's (July 11) episode after getting K-pop band Monsta X's name wrong.

Hosts Kate, Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid teased the appearance later in the show by cutting to some of the group's superfans outside of the studio.

The fans declared: "We love you," with Ben interpreting it to mean they loved the show's hosts.

"I don't think they mean you, I think they mean K-pop," Kate then suggested, before Ben clarified: "Monsta X."

"Monsters Inc," Kate then said, immediately realising the mistake she'd made and burying her head in her hands as the presenters collapsed in stitches.

"Monsta X is what I meant," Kate added, before claiming that Ben had said "Monsters Inc" earlier and that she urged him not to in case she made the same blunder.

"You take responsibility for your own mistakes, Kate Garraway, we established this many years ago," Ben joked. "I'm not responsible for your cock-ups!"

Still, viewers at home found the mix-up pretty hilarious:

Monsters Inc Monsta X later appeared on the show for their much-anticipated interview – though they didn't take too well to trying Marmite for the first time.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
