Piers Morgan called an anti-Brexit campaigner a "moron" after he gatecrashed a Good Morning Britain news segment today (March 19).

News presenter Ranvir Singh was reporting on Brexit's latest twist outside Parliament on the ITV breakfast show, when a nearby man with a megaphone could be heard chanting 'We're Not Gonna Brexit' to the tune of Twisted Sister's 'We're Not Gonna Take It' over her.

While Ranvir kept her cool, Piers was quick to pick up on the chanting campaigner – who often appears in the background of live news reports – and even insisted on talking to him.

And, Piers being Piers, he had a few choice words for the interrupter.

"Chanting morons," Piers said. "What is he even saying? Every village has one."

After the man introduced himself as Steve Bray, he said: "Alright Steve?"

"He's only doing outside Parliament what John Bercow's doing inside it," joked co-host Susanna Reid.

For viewers at home, Mr Stop Brexit's interruption was also pretty amusing. Below are just a few of their reactions:

"Who's that guy with the Brexit chant on Good Morning Britain?" said one viewer.

"Are we just going to act like there isn't a guy singing about Brexit on GMB?" added another.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV.
