Rain macs and brollies were needed as Godiva Festival 2024 got underway. Crowds gathered in the War Memorial Park last night (July 5) braved the rain as the first night of the festival got underway,

It saw Richard Ashcroft headline the night in front of a packed main stage and with a full programme ahead today, will you need your brollies again?

The gates open at 10.30am and CoventryLive has compiled a day-long forecast for all those heading along to the festival today. Sam Ryder and Paloma Faith will be the big draw on the main stage later but there are lots of acts ready to entertain the crowds.
