Godiva Festival is seeking volunteers for this year's festival to help out as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. Music lovers have been urged to help support the crew at War Memorial Park between Friday, July 5, and Sunday, July 7.

The roles include liaising with artists backstage, accompanying street performers, supporting crafts activities, and supporting outdoor street shows. Events firm EnV, working in partnership with the festival, said volunteers would be offered a range of incentives.

This includes complimentary lunch vouchers, a free Godiva Festival volunteer t-shirt, and a free festival ticket for a friend or family member. Headliners for this year include Richard Ashcroft, Paloma Faith, and Beverley Knight across the weekend.

Other music acts include Lady Leshurr, Sam Ryder, The Primitives, and Holy Goof. Coventry City Council's Abdul Salam Khan says there's 'something for everyone' at this year's festival.

"Our lineup perfectly reflects this year’s theme of Worldwide Welcome – we have something for everyone across the weekend. The diversity of the festival caters to all music lovers and that is something we are immensely proud to achieve year after year.

"Whether it’s our drum and bass artists on Friday night or family activities on Sunday afternoon, the diversity of our festival caters to our city," he added.

Tickets for this year's Godiva Festival start from £12.50, with family day tickets priced from £38 for two adults and two children. Tickets are selling fast, so organisers are encouraging people to book early to avoid disappointment.

Anyone interested in volunteering at the event can apply on the EnV website. To view the full weekend lineup and book tickets, visit the Godiva Festival website.
