Upcoming monster mash-up film Godzilla vs. Kong has been given a PG-13 rating.

The PG-13 rating is in line with the franchise's previous outings Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Kong: Skull Island (2017).

The rating was confirmed this week by the Motion Pictures Association, who noted that the movie contains "intense sequences of creature violence/destruction and brief language".

The film is set for release on November 20, having originally been set to hit cinemas in March.
