Gogglebox is just a few weeks away from returning to our screens, which means that the cast are getting ready to sit in front of the cameras again.
The show's boss Tania Alexander is very excited to be bringing us our weekly dose of TV reactions, heartwarming family banter, and weird off-the-cuff things that people do in the comforts of their own homes.
"Oi! Oi! Gogglers the gang are BACK filming #gogglebox one week from today!" she wrote. "See you ALL on Sept 11th."
Digital Spy has reached out to Channel 4 following reports that filming has already begun on the new series, but shooting would traditionally not have started yet as the cast always react to the previous seven days of telly.
The show implemented social distancing procedures during the most recent regular series and throughout all of the latest Celebrity series, with cameras rigged in the homes of the stars to eliminate the need for interaction with the crew.
Gogglebox has repeatedly stated on-air that it has been following all government guidelines, although fans have still complained that regular series stars like Ellie and Izzi, and celebrity friends, have been appearing together despite not living in the same household, and look too close together to be two metres apart.
A show spokesperson previously said: "Most of the families live together but where they don't, they are complying with PHE social distancing guidelines.
"Gogglebox will only film with families where it's safe to do so. The health and safety of our cast and crew is paramount."
Recently, Celebrity Gogglebox-er Roman Kemp says he gets a lot of "thirsty" tweets because of certain camera angles used on the show.
Gogglebox will return on September 11 at 9pm on Channel 4.
