Gogglebox Ellie Warner 'can't believe it' as she sends summer update

Ellie Warner wowed fans as she shared an insight into her summer plans. The reality TV star is renowned for her role as an armchair critic on Gogglebox.

Ellie invites viewers into her home in Leeds where she casts her eye on the week's best TV alongside her sister, Izzi Warner. The two joined the cast in 2015 and have become fan favourites on the popular Channel 4 programme with their hilarious observations on a wide range of television shows.

Ellie has built up a large following on social media as she regularly shares updates of her life away from the screen. Ellie and her partner, Nat Eddleston, welcomed their first child, Ezra into the world last year. Ellie has taken to Instagram to reveal the whole family have jetted off to Italy for a special summer holiday.

She shared snaps from the trip abroad with her 497,000 followers alongside the caption: "Thank you to our friends in Italy for having us. Can’t believe it’s taken us 4 years to visit. You won’t be able to get rid of us now. Love you."

The post was liked thousands of times including from co-stars, Izzi, and Sophie Sandiford. Fans also took to the comments to praise the family after Ellie's summer update.

Ellie beamed as she revealed her family is growing last month after they welcomed a new pet chihuahua into the fold. Izzi swooned over the update as baby Ezra was giggling at a petting zoo. She said: "Ezra’s face brushing the guinea pig I can’t"

The positive updates comes after a difficult month for the reality star after she reported the salon she works at was burgled. She took to Instagram to issue a CCTV appeal as she said the salon was broken into. The reality star said: "Anybody recognise this man? He broke in to our salon in Leeds city centre at 4am on Tuesday morning.

"He spent 40 minutes to enter the salon and stole the most random things. He took a few people's kit bags which contain hairdressing equipment which second hand is not worth much but expensive to replace individually and some things of sentimental value!

She added: "The damage he has caused to the building is more than the value of the items he’s taken, it was the most bizarre burglary! The salon is Tint on North Street in Leeds city centre, any information would be greatly appreciated."

When contacted by the ECHO, West Yorkshire Police confirmed they were looking into the incident. A statement said: "Police are investigating following a report of a burglary at commercial premises in North Street in the Sheepscar area of Leeds.

"A large quantity of cosmetics and a camera were said to have been taken in the incident, which is believed to have occurred at around 3.16am on Tuesday, 23 July.

"Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity at the location is asked to contact police in Leeds on 101, or by using the livechat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website, quoting crime reference 13240397467."
