Gogglebox's Malone family welcomes new baby

Gogglebox fan favourites the Malones have welcomed a new baby to their family.

Viewers of the Channel 4 reality show have been watching mum Julie, dad Tom Senior and sons Shaun and Tom Junior (who recently left the show) enjoy the week's telly for the past six years.

But it's their other son Lee, who shies away from the limelight, who has recently become a new father.

After his wife Sarah gave birth to little baby Grayson in the early hours of Saturday night, the pair took to Instagram to share the news with their sizeable following despite never having appeared on the show.

They both shared a black and white picture of the new family of three holding hands, announcing the baby’s full name, Grayson Cade Malone, alongside the little bundle’s weight and time of birth.

“The best day of my life!” wrote Lee which Sarah echoed in her post.

“Cannot wait to meet him!!! Congrats to you all!” commented Tom Jr.

Lee also shared a second picture from St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester of himself carrying little Grayson home in a baby car seat.

“Welcome to the team son,” he wrote, to which the official Malones account replied: “Team Malone”

Safely home, Sarah also shared a snap of the baby sleeping in his crib, wearing a grey onesie and a white hat while under a fluffy blanket of the same colour.

“I can’t believe we made you Grayson,” she wrote.

Fans flooded the pair's comments to congratulate them on the new addition to their family.

In a previous Instagram story, Sarah thanked their followers saying: “Thank you for all your lovely comments and well wishes. We have a beautiful, healthy baby and heading home shortly. So excited for Grayson to meet the fur babies. Here's to our new chapter."

From what they have posted online, it doesn’t seem like Judi and tom Sr have met their grandson yet.

Since neither Lee nor Sarah have ever made an appearance on the show, it’s unlikely that Gogglebox viewers will ever get to see Grayson on the family’s iconic red sofa.
