'Gogglebox' star Mary Killen flattered to be mistaken for 60s model
Gogglebox star Mary Killen admitted she was “hugely flattered” after a photo purported to be of her younger self went viral.
The picture of a 60s model in a tight-fitting poloneck sweater, miniskirt and platform thigh-hight boots began circulating on Twitter claiming it was a picture of the journalist and reality TV star who appears on the Channel 4 show with her husband Giles Wood.
The picture was retweeted multiple times with people remarking she was a “stunner” and a “babe”.

But a spokesperson for Gogglebox commented: “We have checked with Mary and although hugely flattered, it is not her. It is a model called Susan Shaw.”
Mary, 67, and her husband Giles joined the Channel 4 show - which follows people watching and commenting on the past week of TV - in 2015 and have now appeared in 10 series.
Giles was originally set to appear with his youngest daughter after being approached to take part by a friend in the production team. But when their daughter pulled out Mary was persuaded to join him.
