Gogglebox star Simon Minty has sparked concern from fans as they rush to issue him a warning before tonight's latest episode. The Channel 4 favourite has been soaking up the run on a holiday to Spain, sharing pictures of his European Union jaunt in Barcelona.

But the 56-year-old's posts from the sun-kissed hotspot have been met with a warning form C4 fans. Captioning one shot, Simon - who first joined the show way back in 2021 - typed to his Instagram followers: "Enjoying my time in Barcelona.

"Spent the day in Sitges which was beautiful, calming, and sunny. Looking at beachfront properties, ready to move here haha. Spent time with friend and local Joan, who is showing me around. Had a fine lunch at La Fuga."

He said: "Disappeared to Barcelona for a few days. Today I visited the Picasso Museum and took a wander, without a plan, to explore. Bought myself leather bracelets and some chocolate milk, traditions I've done since I first came here as a teenager."

Replying, one fan typed "Enjoy Simon - but beware of pickpockets. I suffered at their hands when I visited." And a second warned the reality TV star: "Make sure you are back to be on Gogglebox, please! Can't have you missing in action."

"Did you have any issues with the floods? Flight delays or anything? We were leaving Valencia the day of the flooding. So sad driving through trying to get to the airport seeing all the carnage it had left behind," a third fan of the show wrote.

Last year, Simon recalled a “dehumanising” incident where a pilot announced that his mobility scooter was causing a flight delay. The Channel 4 star, who has dwarfism, said he was compelled to share the challenges he’s faced while flying after watching documentary Fight to Fly, presented by former Loose Women star Sophie Morgan.
