Gogglebox's Daniel Lustig 'celebrating' his 'baby girl' in family update
Daniel Lustig has shared a personal update with his social media followers. The former Gogglebox star departed from the Channel 4 show last year.
Despite leaving the show, the TV personality still keeps fans updated with personal and career updates. In his most recent update, Daniel posted a video to Instagram sharing a birthday message for his dog. He said: "yesterday was Betsy's birthday, she is thirteen, I did forget but today we'll be celebrating her birthday with some delicious steak."
The hairdresser turned the camera around to show his 13-year-old Poodle before saying: "Betsy it's your birthday. Happy birthday come and get it [steak]." He told followers he gives Betsy a little bit of steak every year.

The Channel 4 star was supported after making the announcement. Tasha Lustig said: "No way! She can’t be that old she still looks like the baby. It feels like it wasn’t that long ago you got her." One emotional response read: "Aww our Betsy got to 14 & a half & we just lost her. Hope your Betsy has many more happy birthdays full of lovely walks, cuddles & treats."
Many Happy Birthday wishes were sent from fans, including: "Happy birthday sweet Betsy. Sending all the poodle kisses to you" and "Happy Birthday beautiful girl!"
In October, Daniel opened up on his next possible career steps. Appearing on Big Brother star David Potts's podcast 'The David Potts Show', the 43-year-old spoke about TV shows he could potentially see himself being a part of if he were given the opportunity.
When asked by David if there'd be any other shows he would want to do Daniel didn't hesitate with his response. He replied: "Definitely I'd like to try a few shows for sure. I've got this bee in my bonnet that I want to do SAS."
Daniel Lustig and ex-husband Stephen Webb parted ways earlier this year when they announced they had split after six years. The two were renowned for their roles as armchair critics on the popular programme Gogglebox where the couple welcomed fans into their homes to provide hilarious observations on the week's best TV. In the months that followed the split, the pair have remained friends and are still living together in Brighton.
