Gogglebox's Malones reveal surprising fact about Tom Jr
Gogglebox spoilers follow.
The Malone family revealed an interesting fact about Tom Jr on Gogglebox tonight (May 5).
Though he quit the show back in 2021, Tom Jr’s presence has still been felt around the Malone household, and they mentioned him in passing as they watched an episode of Reunion Hotel.
The episode in question followed Terry and his guide dog Spencer, who were about to reunite with the person who trained the dog when he was a puppy.

As the emotional moment took place, Julie remarked that a “dog does make a difference in your life”, before Tom revealed a fact about his son.
“It shows you - we really love our dogs and all that,” he said. “Think about all those years we had dogs in the house - and then we realised Tom was allergic to dogs. One of them had to go - so Tom moved out.”
Tom Jr decided to leave Gogglebox in 2021 after over six years on the Channel 4 show, with the star promising more television work in the future: “So after 6 and a half years it's finally time to put down the remote, and to say goodbye to Gogglebox.
“I've loved every minute and I'm eternally grateful to @channel4 and @studiolambert for allowing me to be a part of the show,” he continued. “But new opportunities are knocking on the door and it's time to explore them. I look forward to enjoying the show as a viewer and not having to worry about having said something stupid.”

He made good on his word, with the reality personality fronting the seventh series of Celebrity Coach Trip alongside girlfriend Bryony Briscoe last year.
“So excited/nervous to announce that we'll be on this year's Celebrity Coach Trip. It was a wild trip with some crazy characters but we loved every minute,” he said of the project.
Gogglebox airs and streams on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
