Golden Globes' Fiji Water Girl snags role in US TV show The Bold and the Beautiful
Kelleth Cuthbert, the Fiji Water Girl who caught the public’s attention at this year’s Golden Globes, skilfully photobombing celebrities’s red carpet photos, has a new job.
The model has earned a role on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, with her appearance set to air on 6 February, Deadline reports.
Cuthbert posted a photo of herself posing with some of the soap’s cast on Instagram, writing: “Thank you to the lovely folks of @boldandbeautifulcbs for having me yesterday!”
At the Globes, Cuthbert was spotted wearing an on-brand blue dress and carrying a tray of Fiji water bottles – the Golden Globes’ official sponsor – in the background of a number of photos, including of Cody Fern, Nicole Kidman, Idris Elba, and many others.
Instead of turning away or making herself inconspicuous, she seemed to revel in the opportunity to photobomb some of the biggest names in Hollywood, turning to the camera directly.
Fiji Water made the most of the attention, tweeting: “We’re so glad everyone is talking about our water! *senses ominous presence* She’s right behind us, isn’t she? #FIJIwatergirl”.
Thank you to the lovely folks of @boldandbeautifulcbs for having me yesterday!
