Golden Orb Spider Weaves on Queensland Woman's Hand

Lisa Van Kula Donovan filmed a golden orb weaving spider crawling on her hands on December 27, 2019, after moving it away from scared guests staying in her caravan park in Hervey Bay, Queensland.

“We’re booked out for the holidays and this gal was hanging above people’s heads in the camp kitchen,” Donovan wrote in an Instagram post. “A few people were telling the groundsman to get rid of her.”

This video shows the female spider weaving on a branch as Donovan pulls her out of a red bucket. Donovan told Storyful that the spider was making a web to avoid falling to the ground.
