Goleta Resident Paddleboards Through Flooded Santa Barbara County
Authorities in California’s Santa Barbara County issued evacuation orders on Monday, January 9, after dangerous flooding hit the area.
Santa Barbara County officials ordered residents in Montecito, Toro Canyon, Sycamore Canyon and Padaro Lane to evacuate immediately on Monday.
The National Weather Service said “dangerous life threatening” flash flooding was impacting southern Santa Barbara County and central Ventura County as additional heavy rain moves into the area.
