Golf Course Covered in Hail During New South Wales Supercell

The New South Wales State Emergency Service announced a large-scale response to a supercell storm that hit the state’s North Coast on October 20.

This footage, posted on Instagram by Keiran James, shows hailstones covering the ground at a golf course in Sawtell.

The Bureau of Meteorology warned that giant hail and destructive winds were due to hit the Coffs Harbour area on Wednesday,, and told people to take safety precautions due to the extreme weather. Credit: Keiran James via Storyful
