The Good Doctor star Hill Harper has opened up about the sh0w's future and admitted he "loves" the show and wants it to keep going after season four.
Harper has aspirations for the show to have the same longevity as Grey's Anatomy and hopes that if it does carry on for as long as Grey's, he will "absolutely" still be part of the show.
He told Digital Spy that the reason he likes The Good Doctor is because of it's both entertaining and emotional and it resonates with people.
"You know when you get the opportunity to do a show that hits home on so many fundamental levels.
"In other words, it sends a message that says 'everyone's voice is valued and valuable' but it's also entertaining, it makes you laugh sometimes but it also makes you cry and feel," added the actor.
"So our show, the writing is so good that I would love to do this show as long as the audience wants to see it and as long as they'll have me...Because I really love doing the show."
He admitted the success of the show isn't just about the great writing, but he acknowledged that the cast has become like a family and he "loves" the people he works with.
"And also, the one thing we don't talk about enough is I really love the people I do the show with. I really enjoy the other actors, I think that we have become family in a way, in a real wonderful way."
