Good Morning Britain has been hit with hundreds of Ofcom complaints after presenter Adil Ray was accused of fat-shaming darts player Luke Littler.

The incident during Thursdayā€™s (January 2) episode of the ITV show as a segment covered Littlerā€™s progress to the semi-finals of the 2025 World Darts Championship, a tournament the teenager would eventually go on to win.

After prefacing his statement by sharing that he would say something that ā€œmight not be very popularā€, Ray said: ā€œI'm a little bit worried about Littler. He's 17, and he's turning into the look of a darts player.

ā€œLook at him! He's admitted he has pizzas before a match and sits there playing computer games. I just think I'm a bit worriedā€ he continued, with co-presenter Kate Garraway interjecting by saying that Ray ā€œshouldnā€™t be worriedā€ as Littler is ā€œso successful.ā€

ā€œHe's going to get more successful, and he can keep on doing it... but I don't want him to get too unhealthy,ā€ he continued, with Garraway adding that he should visit Littlerā€™s dressing room with a carrot to ā€œsee how that goes down.ā€

ā€œJust before the final. Here you go, I've got a salad for you from Pret [a Manger],ā€ Ray concluded, with the pair seen giggling following the remarks, which has led to 311 complaints with regulator Ofcom (as per The Mirror).
