Good Morning Britain viewers loathe stand-in presenter Jeremy Kyle more than Piers Morgan
It was all-change on today’s Good Morning Britain, as Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid took a break.
Replacing the mouthy male presenter was another one, in the form of talk show host Jeremy Kyle. Alongside him, and to people’s joy, was fan favourite Kate Garraway, 50, but it didn’t manage to distract anyone from the disdain they felt for Jezza, 52.
Both Piers, 52, and Susanna, 47, were taking some well-earned time off for a half-term break, meaning the stand-ins would feature all of this week.
It appears people tuning in weren’t overly keen on his shouty presenting approach.
Why is #jeremykyle so angry. His interviewing skills are terrible. Somone tell him he is not on his show where he can speak in that way to guests….#youarenopiersmorgan

And in an incredible turn of events, some were actually calling for the return of Piers Morgan after having not even been absent for a whole show yet.
Come back Piers!!!! Jeremy Kyle makes everything feel very awkward!!

It’s not the first time Jeremy has filled in to present the morning show, having previously divided viewers back then, too. He was, however, able to pick up from his past flirtations with Kate, that some viewers found playful while others hated everything about it.
Fans of the show were having none of his antics, though.
@GMB Jeremy Kyle on GMB on a Monday morning is enough to put anyone in a bad mood! What a monotone and boring man…where's @piersmorgan

@GMB not watching anymore if Jeremy Kyle is on it.

However, there were some out there who did enjoy seeing the controversial host on GMB, ahead of his 9:25am slot with The Jeremy Kyle Show.
So I turn on my TV at 8 am and see Jermery Kyle on #GMB ❤️❤️
I love you #JeremyKyle ❤️❤️

Fans will be relieved to hear that Jezza is only there for a short time before Piers an Susanna return.
Good Morning Britain may get people’s blood boiling when it comes to Piers expressing his often firm and controversial opinions – whether it’s blasting Susanna for not ‘speaking up’ on gender equality, slamming Munroe Bergdorf for using the n-word, or conducting an awkward interview with Tonya Harding – it seems they prefer that to a short-term appearance from poor Jeremy.
Catch GMB each weekday from 6am, on ITV1.
