Good Morning Britain's Andi Peters panicked and ran off camera this morning (January 17) when a prize winner's dog came bounding up to him.

Andi was dishing out prize money to a lucky winner, when a big, white, fluffy dog named Ralph suddenly shot up to the door and scared the former Live and Kicking presenter.

"There's a dog, there's a dog, there's a dog. I can hear a dog. Woah... only a little dog," said Andi, as he suddenly panicked and ran away from the front door and off camera.

However, he later managed to compose himself to give a lady named Sharon her prize money. "You have won five thousand pounds," began Andi.

Then suddenly he squealed in a high-pitched voice: "Ooh, the dogs climbing up on me," before forcing his voice to go lower and saying again: "The dog is climbing up on me."

This left Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid laughing themselves to bits in the studio. They joked that the dog must be called Cujo, referencing the dog from Stephen King's horror story about a dog that turns evil.

"Andi is about to be licked to death," joked Ben.

"I've never seen anyone afraid of a fluffier, cuter dog," laughed Susanna.

Earlier this week Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid celebrated their 'engagement' as the controversial presenter gave his co-host a £1 ring from Poundland.

Elsewhere, Piers had a typically Piers reaction to Gillette's new advert on toxic masculinity.

Good Morning Britain continues weekdays from 6am.
