Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway gets warning from bosses as she's told off live on air
Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway received a telling off during a live interview with former I'm A Celeb contestant Babatunde Aleshe. The 57 year old ITV presenter was back in the studio for Thursday's episode, joined by co-host Richard Madeley, 68.
Both have previously appeared on I'm A Celeb, with Kate facing creepy crawlies Down Under in 2019 and Richard having to withdraw from his stint in the Welsh castle two years later. They invited Babatunde Aleshe, 38, who was a campmate in 2022, to discuss his experiences and the new 2024 show line-up.
However, after explaining why he couldn't participate in the daunting Walk The Plank challenge, Kate quickly shifted the conversation to her own courageous effort. Despite being terrified, she excelled in the opening task.

Kate then confessed she had "gone off on a tangent" as she discussed a concept called "lizard brain" and the "basic fear of heights." The mother of two mentioned the parts of the brain responsible for basic survival functions and cited a survey on babies.
She also acknowledged her late husband, Derek Draper, saying: "I have done a lot of research into brains for various reasons for the past four years. But yeah, the lizard brain is your hardwire thing." After being reprimanded through her earpiece, Kate relayed the message from GMB bosses.
She stated: "They just told me to let you talk, it's a fair point. You are the guest."
Viewers were quick to comment on her dominating the conversation, with one posting on social media: "How many times is Kate going to cut straight over Richard during this interview? How rude?!"
Another shared their thoughts: "I thought this was about Babatunde." Yet another chimed in: "Currently she is attempting to explain the term lizard brain and flailing badly."
In an effort to steer the conversation elsewhere, Richard asked Babatunde: "Who's your money on then?" Babatunde responded: "Ohh I don't know, it's not even really started yet."
Following a mention of his friendship with Melvin, Babatunde remarked: "Melvin's a great guy, I have known Melvin for ages. I think that he is going to light up the place with his personality.
"So at the beginning I'm saying maybe Melvin but we will see you know? When you're in there, it's different. When you're hungry you might say the wrong thing."
