Goodwin Fire Near Mayer Burns More Than 4000 Acres

The communities of Mayer, Chaparral Hills and Poland Junction in Arizona were all ordered to evacuate on Tuesday, June 27, after the Goodwin Fire grew to 4,400 acres.

The latest report on acreage burned came from Arizona forest officials on Tuesday morning. The fire was just five percent contained, 12 News reported.
