Google has announced when it will reveal the next Google Pixel device, the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.

Hot on the heels of Apple’s Far Off event today, the Made by Google launch event will showcase the already-teased Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and the Google Pixel Watch, first shown at the Google keynote event back in March.

In addition, Google has confirmed fresh additions to the Google Nest home product line.

Not much is yet known about the updated Pixel smartphone or the brand-new watch, the very first made by Google “inside and out”.

With Samsung and Apple making smartwatches for years already, Google will need to come out swinging to be able to match the long-standing quality of both its competitors.

When is the Pixel 7 release date?

The event will be held on October 6, 2022 at 10 am Eastern time in the United States, or 3pm in the UK.

Simultaneously, all the new products announced will be available to buy online or at physical stores in New York City.

Viewers in the UK, United States, and Australia can tune into the event live at GoogleStore.com/events.

For any other countries, the live stream will be available here and you can set a reminder for it via the event site.

The recording will also be available to watch afterwards for anyone who misses it.
