UK Google TV owners will be able to rent and buy music, movies and TV shows from Google Play from 13 November. The service launched successfully in the US last month, and now Google is expanding it to other countries, including Germany and France too.

According to Android Community, the service was also expected to be available in Australia and Canada from that date, but Google TV's Google+ announcement posting has been changed to suggest that's no longer the case, and there has been a delay for those territories.
