House Republicans Raked Over The Coals For ‘Psychopathic’ Birthday Tweet For Hillary Clinton
House Judiciary Committee Republicans provoked outrage on Monday night when they fired off a gloating tweet following the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.
The GOP-run account mockingly wished Democratic 2016 presidential nominee Hillary Clinton a happy birthday with the news. Clinton turned 73 on Monday.
Amy Coney Barrett, confirmed. Happy Birthday, @HillaryClinton!

Clinton did not respond directly to the GOP post.
Instead, she criticized Senate Republicans for pushing through a justice “who will help them take away Americans’ health care in the middle of a pandemic.” “For them, this is victory,” she added. “Vote them out.”
Senate Republicans just pushed through a Supreme Court justice who will help them take away Americans' health care in the middle of a pandemic.
For them, this is victory.
Vote them out.— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) October 27, 2020
But hundreds of Twitter users were appalled by the post from the Judiciary Committee Republicans, whose ranking member is the Donald Trump zealot Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).
You are hideous people. Hijackers of justice. Genocidal dictator apologists. Faux leaders who turn the other cheek to bounties on our soldiers. I hope your pearl-wearing agent of the patriarchy was worth it when you all lose your jobs.

All this focus on Clinton has me concerned she won't win the 2020 election. Smart of the GOP to troll her childishly about the new justice in a stolen seat who's going to take our health insurance away during a deadly pandemic. It's almost as good as their 2018 election strategy. https://t.co/5h8rM2Mtq9

Imagine an entire political party having the emotional intelligence of a petty six year old who didn’t get invited to a birthday party — oh, wait, I didn’t have to imagine.

Very cold @JudiciaryGOP. May you toil away in the away in the minority for decades to come. https://t.co/ECHUamgkyE

230,000+ Americans are dead and millions more are sick or have lost their jobs. Yet "owning the libs" is the GOP's top priority. https://t.co/AjDZuhhj0J

As someone who was a Republican when it was a principles based party, I am repulsed by its current juvenilism. Why don't you all grow up?

What an absolutely bizarre and psychopathic way to “celebrate” the “victory” of getting another right-winger onto the SCOTUS bench. Thanks for reminding millions to VOTE OUT the GOP at all levels of government.
