Gordon Ramsay channels Ross Kemp in this two-part series that investigates cocaine use in the restaurant industry.

The TV chef opens up about his first hand experience with the usage, revealing he has been ‘asked to dust [it] on soufflés and ‘to put it on instead of icing sugar’.

Here's everything you need to know about the new show:

What’s it about?

The new series sees Ramsay tackling an issue that’s close to his heart. After losing his best friend David Dempsey to cocaine in 2003, he hopes to shine a light on the drug’s use in the restaurant industry.

He has said he was inspired to do so after claiming a customer at one of his restaurants took a plate to the toilet to snort cocaine and asked for a clean one to replace it.

To do this he learns about cocaine’s production, travelling to South and Central America where he witnesses the ‘cooking’ process by which the drug is made.

Then he heads back to the UK to discover how the drug makes its way into the restaurant trade.

He also turns inspector in his own restaurants, swabbing the toilets to see if traces of cocaine are present with alarming results.
