Gordon Ramsay has offered A-level pupils free pizza on results day.

The celebrity chef, 53, said he wanted to do something to congratulate students as they learned their marks, and that he had only ever dreamed of getting an A-level himself.

He said people picking up their results should head to one of his eateries for “bottomless pizza on us”.

“Whatever the results are just take it as a positive amongst this difficult, awkward year.

“Let me tell you, no one is going to judge you for the rest of your life on what you get tomorrow.”

The father-of-five went on: "But what I'd like to make a difference with is a pizza.

“So for all you recipients of your A-Levels tomorrow, out of respect for the determination and that patience that you've gone through – pizza is on me!"
