Running a restaurant may be tough, but it doesn't compare to being a father of six. Gordon Ramsay should know — he's done both.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the celebrity chef said he hardly enjoys any time off. And the bustle doesn't stop even when he gets home because of his six children.

"The Ramsay household is like running a restaurant where no one goes home. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. 'Dad, can we have that prime rib tonight?' We just finished lunch! Can you give me a minute?'" Ramsay said. "You're never off, honestly."

Despite that, the 57-year-old says having six kids was always the goal for him and his wife, Tana.

"That was the dream we first set out," Ramsay said.

The couple has been married since 1996 and welcomed their sixth child, Jesse, in November. They are also parents to Megan, 25; twins Jack and Holly, 23; Matilda, 22; and Oscar, 4.

This is not the first time that Ramsay has spoken about fatherhood.

Shortly after welcoming Jesse in November, the celebrity chef joked about how he'd be the "oldest dad at the drop-off" once his newborn son starts going to school.

In January, Ramsay also shared that he teaches his kids to be smart with money by matching the amount they save over the year at Christmas.

Ramsay isn't the only celebrity dad with many children.

There's Nick Cannon, who has fathered 12 kids with six women; Elon Musk, who has 10 known children with three different mothers; and Robert De Niro, who welcomed his seventh child in May last year at age 79.
