The hotel has recently completed £1.5 million renovations, including new Estate Patio rooms, Grand Hall, and more. New additions like a Kitchen Garden and beehives offer fresh, local produce for an enhanced dining experience.

Alongside Down Hall's jam-packed social calendar full of events to attend, visitors can relax in the serene spa and enjoy afternoon tea or a drink in the Fox Bar. She added: “The food is amazing – make sure you try one of their stone baked pizzas – and Down Hall itself is beautiful, gorgeous grounds and the room was fabulous!”

TOWIE star Ferne McCann agrees, saying she “was blown away with how unbelievable the spa facilities and food were.”

Other awards for Down Hall include LUXlifestyle Best Luxury Country House Hotel & Spa of the Year 2024 – South East England; Large Hotel of the Year, East of England Tourism Awards 2023; and two AA Rosettes for the Garden Room restaurant.
