Gorka Marquez's daughter cuddles up to another Strictly Come Dancing star after Gemma Atkinson's emotional admission

Gemma Atkinson shares a string of sweet moments from her and her daughter's visit to see Gorka Marquez as he continues touring the country with his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars.

The dancer has already spent a couple of weeks on the road with a number of his fellow professional dancers from the BBC One dance contest as they bring the Strictly Come Dancing The Professionals tour to venues up and down the country.

As well as Gorka the other talented professional dancers taking part are Karen Hauer, Dianne Buswell, Nancy Xu, Graziano Di Prima, Carlos Gu, Vito Coppola, Nikita Kuzmin, Jowita Przystal, Neil Jones, Michelle Tsiakkos and Luba Mushtuk.

And Gorka previously spoke about being away from home and specifically shared what his four-year-old daughter misses about him being away. The 33-year-old said: "When we’re in London or Manchester on the tour, Gemma will bring Mia to see me. She loves to see Daddy dance. I try to get home on odd days the rest of the time. I’m a judge on the Spanish version of Strictly so I’m used to being away from home.

"But I miss the family, of course, and they miss me, particularly Mia who likes me to take her to her swimming lesson on a Saturday morning. Thiago’s too young at the moment to understand the passage of time. But this is all part of the job and I’m doing something I love."

However, there has been a reunion after five weeks away as the Strictly stars made their way to Manchester for their string of shows on Tuesday and Wednesday which meant Gorka could stay at home. It also meant that Mia was finally able to see her Papa in action in the show.

Taking to Instagram, Gemma shared a snap of Mia getting the backstage treatment as she was seen in an adorable snap getting a cuddle from Strictly's reigning champ Vito. She also returned to see her dad during the show with the Hits Radio host sharing a snap of Gorka planting a kiss on his little girl's cheek saying: "Interval kisses!"

And as ever, the Strictly stars made sure she was given all the special treatment as she was adorable seen wearing Gorka's huge white fur coast from the programme's Barbie number which has made its way onto the tour before she wore other accessories, with Gemma explaining: "Papa's Ken coat, Luba's hat, Karen's glasses," alongside a string of crying laughing emojis.

It comes after Gemma told the Manchester Evening News last month ahead of watching the show at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall. "But again it's in the week so I will take Mia because she loves to watch him, but it's one of them where she's got school the next day. It'll be a late night for her but it's the small sacrifices that you make.

"She's hopefully going to want to watch him dance forever and ever but there might be a time when he says he's performing on a Saturday and she might turn around and say, 'Yeah but I wanna go out with the girls!' So we're trying to make the most of it while we can."
