Gosha Rubchinskiy is on a roll.

He's one of the most talked-about names in men's fashion thanks to his expert elevation of football culture, his Cyrillic slogans and, more recently, his inspired brand collaborations.

This time last year the 33-year-old Russian launched a collaboration with Adidas (ahead of this year's world cup in Russia) in the Russian city of Kaliningrad. And in June, he debuted a highly publicised collaboration with Burberry - inspired by football and Russian '90s aesthetics - in St. Petersburg.

The buzzy collection (which hit stores a week ago) is credited with having breathed life into the iconic Burberry check, and firmly rescued it from its '90s doldrums.

Fashion collaborations have become big business, and this Sunday, Gosha once again proved he is a maestro at nailing the zeitgeist with an AW18 collection that continued partnerships with Adidas and Burberry and added Dr Martens and Levi's to the line up.

Continuing to shun European fashion weeks in preference of shining a light on Russian cities, Gosha debuted his latest collection at the Boris Yeltsin Presidential centre in Yekaterinberg.

Models, some with the Adidas logo painted on their shaven heads, strutted the catwalk in interpretations of the Dr Martens Adrian Tassel Loafer and its more formal Oxford style, and Levi's 501s and trucker jackets in patchworks of black and blue.

There were Burberry check duffel coats and reworked Adidas football kits, all laced with Gosha's signature skatewear accents.

The look was part-football hooligan, part-punk and 100 per cent club kid cool.

The latest collection won't hit stores 'til July, but for those of you who can't wait, the SS18 Burberry collaboration dropped last week, and you can shop it here.
