So there's a little Game of Thrones theory going around that Jaime Lannister will put an end to his twin sister Cersei.
It's been heavily discussed for a good year now – as some fans expected the Kingslayer to stop Cersei before she destroyed the Sept of Baelor with wildfire.
Now, people are speculating that Jaime – not Jon Snow – could be the Prince That Was Promised, and will kill his "beloved Nissa Nissa" (aka his sister).
Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau – who plays Jaime – previously said that the theory "absolutely makes sense" and would be "a perfect little nod"... but his tune has slightly changed speaking to Mashable more recently.
"I mean I don't think he - I'm just saying it's a valid theory," Coster-Waldau said.
"I can see it makes sense, it has a beautiful - it's a nice circle [that] they are born together in the womb and then he kills her at the end... It makes sense."
Coster-Waldau added that there is certainly motive for Jaime to kill Cersei. But the biggest obstacle remains whether Jaime is "capable" of slaying his own sister.
"You could say that the motivation for [killing the Mad King] would be the same for killing Cersei, but I haven't seen anything yet before season seven that would make me believe that he was capable of doing that," he said.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO on Sunday, July 16 and Monday, July 17 on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
