Will & Grace seems to be collecting stars from other classic sitcoms for its tenth season.

The NBC comedy series recently made headlines for casting David Schwimmer in his first major sitcom role since Friends to play Grace's (Debra Messing) new love interest in a recurring capacity.

Now, The Hollywood Reporter has passed along the news that Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer will also be joining the stars of Will & Grace to play himself in a guest appearance.

Cryer has infamously put up with Charlie Sheen's Adonis DNA meltdown and very likely been punked by Ashton Kutcher during his years on Two and a Half Men, but we imagine nothing has prepared him to cross paths with Jack and Karen in Will & Grace.

The 53-year-old actor recently reunited with former co-star Kutcher on Netflix's The Ranch, but his guest appearance in Will & Grace will be Cryer's first traditional sitcom job since he popped up in CBS's Mom two years back.

In addition to Cryer's appearance, Will & Grace has cast former chatshow host Chelsea Handler as Grace's potential sister-in-law for an episode that brings back Mary McCormack as her sibling Janet.

Debra Messing has also offered a cheeky preview of David Schwimmer getting to work on the new season as he sized up his new co-star Eric McCormack. Have a look below:

Both Friends and Will & Grace were anchors of NBC's Must See TV line-up when NBC was at its most successful in the late '90s and early 2000s.

Will & Grace will be back on NBC along with Jack & Karen (the spin-off we need) on Thursday, October 4 in the US. There's no word yet on when season 10 will cross the pond on Channel 5.
