The Graham Norton Show is currently airing a new series on BBC One with a few differences under social distancing guidelines.
The famous sofa is gone, with guests now sitting apart in their own chairs, with Graham in the middle. Earlier this year, when the pandemic first hit, guests all did their interviews via video call, so this is a step towards normality, but what does Graham himself think about the current setup?
Appearing on today's (October 6) This Morning, Graham told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "It was just so lovely being back in the studio, it's different but it's much closer to the real show and just nice to be talking to faces.
"It's a smaller audience of 100 instead of 600, and you can tell the audience were delighted to be out of the house – they were thrilled to be there! The music performance, and all those things we took for granted, now seem so precious."
The famous red chair is still a part of the show, with Graham revealing that there are different slip covers for it so they can have multiple people sit in it.
Graham also appeared on the show to talk about his new novel Home Stretch, which tells the story of a man dealing the trauma of a tragic event and what he left behind in Ireland when he moved away to live life as an openly gay man, and how the latter relates to his own life.
Graham's show this week (October 9) includes Ashley Banjo, Ewan McGregor, Shirley Ballas and Miley Cyrus as guests, and the week after (October 16) includes Dawn French and Freddie Flintoff, among others.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am, while The Graham Norton Show airs Friday nights at 10.45pm.
