Graham Norton has been spotted out in a Glasgow bar and has been branded "amazing" by the venue's staff who have been gushing about the TV icon's appearance online.

The Irish chat show host, 61, was seen enjoying a glass of wine in Corke & Caske, an independent wine and spirits bar located in the West End of Glasgow.

The TV star popped into the bar on Hyndland Road, which is famed for its impressive wines and delicious cocktails, and staff were thrilled to welcome Graham to the wine shop, which they confessed had "made their day."

The five time BAFTA TV award winner smiled as he posed for a picture in the boutique while dressed casual in a blue cap with a matching top and jumper.

Corke & Castle staff members were delighted to have him and rushed to their social media page to share a snap of him in the Scots bar with their 2,300 followers on Instagram.

They wrote online: "What a pleasure to meet the amazing Graham Norton, made my day."

It's no secret that Norton had a soft spot for Scotland as he is married to Scotland-born filmmaker Jono Mcleod.

The BBC host was seen sneaking into the Scottish BAFTAs last year to support his director husband.

His appearance at Glasgow at the weekend is also not his first time in the city this year as he surprised fans with a visit to the Glasgow film festival in February.

Norton looked very smart in a plaid jacket and jeans as he was snapped alongside Jean Johansson and River City star Gary Lamont.

The trio celebrated the 20 year anniversary of the city's beloved festival at Glasgow Film Theatre.
