The Graham Norton Show has revealed the line-up for the third show in the latest series.

The BBC One chat show is returning this Friday (October 2) for a new run, but we're looking a few weeks ahead right now.

On the Friday, October 16 instalment, we'll have comedy legend Dawn French talking about her new novel 'Because of You' while sports star and Top Gear host Freddie Flintoff will be promoting his new book 'Right, Said Fred'.

Football manager Arséne Wenger will also be on to plug his autobiography 'My Life in Red and White'.

Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars Samuel L Jackson will be showcasing his documentary Enslaved: The Lost History of the Transatlantic Slave Trade with his wife LaTanya Richardson Jackson. With the recent news about a solo Nick Fury series coming to Disney+, we're hoping he'll spill a few beans about that.

And last but certainly not least, Michael Kiwanuka will be performing his new single 'Light'.

The last series of the show was conducted entirely remotely due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but going forward we will see a mix of celebrities being beamed in via video link and actually appearing in the studio.

The first episode of the new series, airing on October 2 at 10.45pm, will see country legend Dolly Parton and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's Riz Ahmed both appearing remotely via video link with Rupert Everett, Lolly Adefope and Sara Pascoe in studio. Róisín Murphy is musical guest.

The big red chair is also set to make a return, but filming for it will take longer than usual as it will need to be sprayed down and cleaned every time someone is flipped off it (or, more rarely, finishes their story).

This episode of The Graham Norton Show will air on BBC One on October 16 at 10.45pm.
