Grammy 2019 performances: Cardi B, Janelle Monae, Camila Cabello among others to take the stage

Camilla Cabello, Cardi B, and Janelle Monáe are all set to perform at the 2019 Grammy Awards.

Also among the first batch of performers to be announced are Dan + Shay, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, and Kacey Musgraves, who are all set to take to the stage during the 10 February event, which will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Alicia Keys is set to host the ceremony. The singer broke the news on Tuesday by releasing a video in which she’s told she has been picked as the next host.

In the clip, Keys can be seen looking incredulous, then rejoicing, before sharing the news with her loved ones, including her husband Swizz Beatz.

“We can make it a moment,” Keys – who has earned 15 Grammy Awards throughout her career – tells him of her forthcoming hosting performance.

Kendrick Lamar has claimed eight nominations this year for his work on the Black Panther soundtrack, more than any other artist.

Drake earned seven nominations, while producer Boi-1Da and folk singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile are up for six awards each.
