Alison Hammond has delivered a succinct opinion on her Great British Bake Off colleague Noel Fielding, admitting she "can't predict" his next move.

The 49 year old presenter is back for another series of the popular baking show, teaming up with Noel following Matt Lucas's exit. Despite initially doubting their partnership, Alison now feels they share a "beautiful, natural chemistry".

Her experience working with Noel, 51, contrasts with her role on This Morning with Dermot O'Leary. Alison say she can 'read his mind' and anticipate his words, reports the Express.

Noel's unpredictability keeps Alison on her toes. Speaking to The Sun, she said: "Unlike with Dermot where I can predict what he's going to say I can read his mind with Noel, I can't predict what he's going to say or do."

She continued, highlighting their shared sense of humour: "It's really frustrating! But we've got the same sense of humour which is a little bit naughty."

Prue Leith, a judge on Bake Off, concurred with Alison, stating that "nobody" knows what Noel will do next, not even himself.

Feeling like an integral part of the Bake Off family, Alison was "excited" to reunite with the team. Noel has mentioned that one of his favourite moments from the upcoming series involves Alison.

Noel revealed that his standout moment from the show wasn't a cake but Alison's hammock mishap, when speaking to The Guardian. He confessed: "I'll never be able to unsee it."

Continuing with his fond teasing, he remarked: "What I love about Alison and I mean this with the greatest of respect is that she's an absolute klutz. If anyone's going to fall out of a hammock, it'll be her. She also fell backwards off one of the workbenches while showing off. Don't worry, she was OK. No Hammonds were harmed in the making of this series."

Heaping praise on his colleague, Noel described Alison as a "brilliant improviser and instinctively funny", adding that Bake Off judges Prue and Paul Hollywood both "adore" her.

Fans can look forward to the next episode of The Great British Bake Off airing on Channel 4, Tuesday at 8pm.
